You owe it to yourself to feel good! Life can be complex, chaotic, and downright difficult. The good news? —you don’t have to go through it alone. Psychotherapy is a non-pharmacological treatment that focuses on you, your goals, and your values. I take a strengths-based, results-oriented approach to identify your natural resources and resiliencies to create a happier, healthier lifestyle.
I am trained in EMDR therapy—an approach that will help you desensitize and reprocess past traumas in your life. I have worked with individuals suffering from grief and loss of a loved one, adjustment symptoms related to a new disability or diagnosis, and family related trauma. I utilize cognitive and behavioral approaches integrated with person-centered and mindfulness elements to help individuals with anxiety, panic disorder, chronic stress, depression, and social phobia.
I create a safe, non-judgmental space: I am Safe Zone trained (LGBTQ acceptance in clinical settings) and my studies have emphasized women’s issues, empowerment, and sexuality. In therapy we work as a collaborative team—I will be the primary support that helps you elicit the change you’ve always desired.
I am a Clinical Psychology Doctoral Candidate supervised by licensed psychologist certified in EFT and EMDR therapies.
